Review:"A very small Sushi Bar with good Hand Rolls, the Tuna Tataki Appetizer (lightly grilled) at $ 7.50 was very good. The Sashimi Deluxe at $ 17.95 was just ok. "

Reviews:"Small unassuming place on the main street of Brattleboro. We visited while travelling thru so this is based on just one visit. We had sushi but they also do Korean food. Service was very friendly and the sushi was good, very fresh and well presented. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. Brattleboro is also a very neat little town and worth a visit to walk Main Street, there is a wonderful old art deco hotel and movie theatre (the Latchis) right across the street from Shin-La, check it out if you are into that sort of thing. "Shin La is two restaurants in one. When you walk in the door go up a few stairs to the Sushi Bar area. Best to go with a friend or two and order the Sashimi Speical. Yes its not cheap at $65 dollars but when this very speical very large 38 pcs. of wonderfully fresh Maguro; Sake; Hamachi; Ama-Ebi; Tai; Ika; Miru-Gai is put in front of you. Its good. Did I say real good. Yes they can make you a Full selection of Vegetarian Sushi and Hand Rolls, the Ume-shishoRoll (pickled Plum Mint) and the Shinko Roll (yellow radish with pickle) are offered but we were there for the Sushi. Accross the Street is Sam's. Brattleboro's number one outdoor store. So if you Fish; Hike; Camp or just love Japanese Restaurants and the outdoors check out Shin La Sushi Bar and Sam's. "
