| - J. Alley [November 26th 1997] |
| "Unfortunately, the service and cuisine at this restaurant has diminished greatly. The increase in price plus the fact that few of the staff speak Japanese (it is Chinese-run) have led to a decline in popularity among locals and virtually no traffic from tourists." |

| "Food and service is excellent. Hamada is a full service Japanese restaurant. Not only is there an exquisite sushi bar, but there is a regular dining room and a teppan room where skilled chefs cook your meal to order on huge grills." |

| "This is without question the best sushi bar in which I have ever had the pleasure of dining! The presentation is fabulous and the service virtually instantaneous. The sushi is the freshest and tastiest i have enjoyed. If you like sushi dont miss this one while in Vegas." |

This is by far the best place for sushi in Las Vegas. Finally there
is a place in Vegas that rivals the best sushi bars around the world. Sushi
chef Hiroyuki Isoda with executive chef Kevin Martinez, combine their talents
of East meets West cuisine to come up with some of the most innovative sushi
around. This trendy, hip restaurant is a must see. You won't be
disappointed. Best of all...they are open til 2am.

| "I've eaten sushi all over the U.S. and Japan and this place is my all-time
favorite. Who would have known you could get great sushi in the desert? They have a full menu so
even your sushi-paranoid friends will eat there and in true Vegas fashion, they're open 'til
2a.m. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff is always friendly. I would eat there as
often as possible even if it were always full price but the half-price sushi happy hour is the
icing on the cake! It doesn't get any better.

| " I love your restaurant with the way everyone gives their service. My best friend
and I reunited from being separated for more than 10 years and the first restaurant we went to in
Las Vegas is Osaka. My friend loved it too. She is a sushi lover like me. She ordered sashimi and
she said that 'the way food is served not only attractive but delicious' I have been to other
Osaka restaurant in Vancouver and San Francisco and your restaurant so far is the best. I don't know
if it is owned by the same owner but I would love to email them about my experience. I will be
bringing my husband on his 30th birthday to Osaka eventhough he doesnt like raw seafood. I told him
there are other japanese foods that are not raw and delicious as well. It will be quite an
experience!!!

What a great little find in a strip shopping mall!
The charming, humorous owner/chef waited on me personally
as I was his only customer at the sushi bar for lunch,
although several Asian patrons set at tables. Wonderful, fresh,
nigiri sushi tried was ikura, sake, maguro,& hamachi. I
will be a repeat customer my next visit to Las Vegas.

Great fish, presentation is outstanding (you
have to see the jelly fish aquarium behind the
bar). Portionals are above average. The chefs
are experiences and can make anything you ask
for. Get in early, avoid the wait...or wait,
its worth it.

| "Fred Faust, a travel writer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, visited this
restaurant. He said the jellyfish tanks provide a hypnotic and beautiful setting for the sushi.
Each item of sushi was first-rate. The writer paid more for sushi at Shintaro than anywhere else
he has gone. Recommended to avoid a wait by arriving late: between 9:30 and 10:00.

| "By far the best deal in Las Vegas, the quality is top notch, and the service is quick and friendly! Sushi on Tropicana carries a full selection and can make any sushi you can think of. A great place for anyone serious about sushi." |
| - Alec Ginsburg (aginsburg@earthlink.net) [August 22nd 1998] |
| "I went because the price sounded good (around $20 for lunch) but I came back again
because the food quality and variety is excellent. Included in the all-you-can-eat format is any
sushi you can dream of (I think there is an extra charge for uni) as well as hot items from the
kitchen, soups, salads, etc. All quality was fantastic, and I like the 'help yourself' gari
located around the bar... I eat a lot of this delicious ginger, and it was nice not to have to bug
the sushi chef for more. Hamachi handroll, spicy tuna handroll, and shrimp salad handroll were my
favorites.
Highly recommended.

| "Unfortunately Sushi on Trop is under new management. I went for the all you can eat recently and attempted to order a spicy CA roll w/smelt (one of my favorites) the chef advised that I could only order from the menu 'No special orders', which is apparently the new rule for them. We'd never heard a rule like this at any of the MANY sushi places in town we frequent, so we left and wont be going back. I understand limits on Toro or Sweet Shrimp, items with high market value, but if I can't get a little spicy sauce for $25 bucks there, I'll go somewhere else. Just wanted to let folks know incase you're looking to order specifically what you like.
