Reviews: | "Don't overlook this unassuming storefront restaurant. Fantastic sushi, a clean, friendly atmosphere, and extremely personable service. Taka, the owner, rarely seems to forget a face, even after a month's interlude between visits. The diverse and affordable menu also includes tempura, teryaki, udon soups and other favorites. The quality of the sushi is excellent; perfection is the norm. Try sushi happy hour in the evenings from about 5:00-7:00 and sample the $1 nigiri menu. I don't bother going anywhere else in Indy for Japanese cuisine (except hibachi, no grill here).

Review: | "This is the best sushi in Indianapolis, or Indiana for that matter. It was voted Best Restaurant in Broad Ripple by the Indianapolis Monthly and is also considered to be one of the top restaurants of the entire city. They serve the best inovated sushi and not only that, they also have non sushi related entrees, a great wine and beer list, and amazing desserts. Sit at the sushi bar and watch Eli make your sushi, it great!

| "My wife and I consider ourselves rather experienced sushi fans and this place is on
our list as very special. George, the head chef has worked to master a number of rather original
rolls. The Rock and Roll and the Soft Shell Crab maki are outstanding. A personal favorite is the
Spicey Scallop temaki with just the right balance of sweet scallop and spice. The Chefs Choice
sashmi is prepared with care and an eye for presentation. Its beautiful. The portions are much
better than average and the fish is quite flavorful. The menu is complete and they offer a number
of non-sushi, seafood entrees.

| "My wife and I have visited Ocean World on several occasions and it is a very good
sushi restaurant. Good prices, great portions. The service can be a bit slow at times.

Service was very prompt.
Portions were very generous.
The sushi was fresh, tasty and nicely presented.
I walked out very full and the prices were very reasonable.

| "No offense to the other reviewers, but Ocean World is NOT the place to go for fresh sushi. Having been to Japan, I am experienced when it comes to this delicacy and I was shocked at how nasty the fish Ocean World served could be. My office colleagues and I used to go for lunch, but the fish was so hit-or-miss, that we decided we had better elsewhere.

Reviews: | "Sakura is a wonderful little place (located in a renovated Pizza Hut of all places) with a traditional Japanese decor. The menu is quite diverse, offering traditional Japanese dishes, along with the sushi, so feel free to bring along that date that gets faint at the thought of raw fish. You can order al a carte from a sushi menu or, if you prefer, from the standard dinner menu, which has all the standard sushi dinners. " |

| "#1 in Indy hands down. If you want true sushi served right, look no further. The local Japanese wait to get in here.

intimate. Good selection of sushi. Decent prices.
