Reviews:"The absolute best sushi bar in Jacksonville. I've eaten at many sushi bars, and this is the best I've EVER eaten, not just in this city. They are primarily a Korean restaurant, but have a very nice sushi bar, and Japanese lunch boxes as well. "

Review:"Japanese steakhouse with an above average sushi bar for this area. Sushi bar comparable to some of the better ones in the San Francisco Bay area. Excellent selection of sushi- nigiri, rolls, and others, and sashimi. Pleasing presentation. Personal or off-menu requests accepted. Fridays and Saturdays extremely busy; no reservations accepted. Monday discouraged, it is Toshi's night off."

Yoshi CLOSED !

Name:Yoshi Japanese Restaurant
Address:9866-8 Baymeadows Rd., Jacksonville, FL
Phone: (904) 642-3978
Reviews:"Opened in 1983.Dining at Yoshi's is a great experience. The food has a distinctive taste, the white rice is the best. For over fifteen years Yoshi and his family have been serving traditional Edo cuisine to the ardent Deerwood area. If you say you have had the best somewhere else, the joke is on you! "
- Chris Phillips (spade2323@yahoo.com) [November 21st 2000]
"The best sushi in town. Used to live in Hawaii and we've been to a LOT of Japanese sushi bars, but Yoshi's takes the cake. His rice is sweet and the seaweed is immaculate. The place has lots of character and great atmosphere. Our favorites: agedashi tofu, goomae, dynamite roll, and spider roll. Look no further for authentic Japanese cuisine. "
